Discover Expeditions - Saguenay
Introduce yourself to canoe camping and step outside your comfort zone. Enjoy some amazing food cooked on the fire, sleep under the stars in the comfort of your tent, and discover a new interest for your backyard.
Our goal with Discover Expeditions is to create a stepping stone for women who are curious about canoe camping but need a gentle introduction. We hope that you learn to feel comfortable in a canoe, dip your toes in the water, and fall in love with the experience that awaits you.
DISCOVER EXPEDITIONS
Open to all adult
Day 1
9:00 AM Group meeting at the launch site, group lunch, move to the weekend campsite, basic canoe and camping fundamentals, dinner, and evening around the fire
Day 2
Exploration of the waterway, swimming, building canoe confidence, relaxation time, return to the campsite in the late afternoon
Day 3
Canoe return to the launch site, closing activity, end of activities scheduled around 3 PM
