COURAGEOUS COEDS - Rivière Ashuapmushuan

July 21

10:00 AM Group meeting in the Chambord area, equipment check, shuttle to the launch point, canoe introduction, move to our first campsite, dinner, and evening around the fire

July 22 to 26

Daily travel to our campsite, days alternating between swimming, canoeing, relaxation, and group activities

July 27

Canoe travel to the river exit, closing activity, end of activities scheduled around 3 PM in Chambord

The Ashuapmushuan River is a delight for river enthusiasts. With various challenges and stunning landscapes, you'll have a pleasant experience surrounded by boreal forest and fun rapids! The Ashuapmushuan River traverses the ancestral Innu lands of Quebec. Witness to centuries of history, it has been a vital axis for trade and the life of Indigenous communities and early European settlers. Today, it offers visitors an immersive experience blending wild nature and cultural heritage, recalling its crucial role in the region's past and present.
