Florence Beaupré

I was lucky enough to grow up surrounded by family and friends who were passionate about nature and adventure. I quickly combined this passion for the outdoors with that of travel by discovering the beauty of the mountains in Peru, New Zealand, the French Alps and then in Quebec in the Uapishka Mountains (Groulx) or on the International Appalachian Trail. Canoeing has always been a part of my life, and has become an important part of it in the last few years.

I was able to professionalise my passion for the outdoors by completing the AEC in Adventure Guiding in Gaspé. I also completed a bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, during which I became very interested in environmental education and the importance of contact with nature. I have also worked for many years with young people in various sports, educational and outdoor contexts.

For me, expeditions are not only a way to learn and challenge oneself, but also a tool to become leaders in our community.
